Ingredients:-

Almond Paste – ½ Cup

Butter – ½ Cup

Lemon Cover (grated) – 2 tbsp

Castor Sugar – ¼ Cup

Yellow Part of Egg – 1

White Part of Egg – 1

Lemon Juice – 1 Spoon

Maida – 1 Cup

Water – 1 tbsp

Almond Pieces – ½ Cup

Apricot Jam – ½ Cup

Method:-

  • Mix Almond Paste, Butter, grated Lemon cover, Castor Sugar, Yellow Part of Egg and Lemon Juice in a Bowl.
  • Add Maida and mix it.
  • Put the dough in a tin and keep it in Refrigerator for 20 minutes.
  • Roll the dough on to a Roti of ¼” thick and cut the same with help of Biscuit Cutter.
  • Add 1 tbsp water to White part of the egg and beat well. Spread the same on all the Biscuits.  Decorate with Almond Pieces.
  • Put all the Biscuits in a greased Oven Tray and place it in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Bake it till the Biscuits turns to golden colour and cool it.
  • Heat the Apricot Jam for 1 second and spread it on the Biscuits. Again put the same in Oven for 2 minutes.  Cool and serve.
